What Classes Are Available?

Dev & Go training is the longest Coding Academy course designed for mastery of web development skills. Students spend three weeks with PHP for server-side scripting before switching to JavaScript for front end development. The course ends with a capstone project where students fully conceptualize, design, test, and launch a professional website. Upon completing the course, students are encouraged to pursue one of Coding Academy’s specialization courses to deepen their web development skills. Students must complete an internship if they choose not to undergo a specialization.

The Code & Go specialization is designed for those wanting to become Full Stack Web Developers. Students learn Python, Java, Ruby, and JavaScript programming languages. Students also learn mobile and desktop application development. The course is completed with an internship.

The Web & Go specialization is geared toward those wishing to become Front End Web Developers. Students learn coding with HTML, CSS, and CSS frameworks. They also learn WordPress, project creation tools such as Photoshop, and how to work with APIs and PHPs. Training is completed with an internship.

Epitech’s final course is the Data & Go specialization designed to provide the skills to become a Data Developer or AI Developer. Students first learn development tools such as Python, Pandas, Seaborn, Docker, and FlasK. They also learn automatic language processing and image and video manipulation. The course is completed with a project where students build their own AI algorithm, followed by an internship.

Class Formats

Epitech Coding Academy’s Dev & Go training is available part-time for 13 weeks of remote training (within France or Belgium) or ten weeks of training on campus. The Dev & Go training is designed to be completed before attending any of the three subsequent specialization courses. However, web developers with equivalent experience acquired from their careers can enroll in a specialization without completing the prerequisite.

Students who don’t wish to continue to pursue a specialization after completing Dev & Go must end their education with an internship lasting one (minimum) to three months. Specialization training with Web & Go, Code & Go, and Data & Go runs part-time for eight weeks (on campus or remotely within France or Belgium) and includes internships lasting one (minimum) to six months.

Upon completing their internship, students must present a defense of their education in front of a jury of professionals. At this point, they receive their professional certification. Students who complete courses but cannot find an internship or obtain their certificate are eligible to apply to the Academy’s Twice Pass program, which allows them to complete training a second time at no additional cost.

Admissions Process

Individuals who wish to enroll in the Coding Academy must hold a BAC +2 (all sectors) or have more than five years of professional experience. An application must be completed, detailing your background and reasons for wanting to attend the Academy. The next step includes an interview where applicants present their professional goals. The final step is the completion of logic and English tests. Some admissions requirements may differ between countries.

Students are required to possess a laptop computer (notebooks and tablets are not accepted) with the following technical specs:

8GB RAM
Between 100 and 300 GB hard drive
5Ghz card
WIFI Chipset, ABGN

In addition, students wishing to pursue the Web & Go specialization must have a computer possessing a recent processor with a minimum of 4 cores. Students successfully enrolled in training are given preferential rates to purchase a computer with Epitech.

Students who do not obtain their certificate and wish to apply to the “Twice Pass” program must:

Have completed an internship lasting at least four weeks, or if having not completed it:

Provide proof of their internship search (at least 40 applications sent and company refusal letters received)

Have demonstrated exemplary attendance during their training
Provide an assessment of unmastered skills

Pricing & Payment Options

The Coding Academy offers payment plan options for the Dev & Go and specialization courses. Dev & Go training is priced at €3,500 and can be paid in two installments of €1,795 or five installments of €750. Specialization courses are priced at €1,400 each and can be paid in two installments of €750. All payments can be made by transfer, check, or direct debit. Some pricing options may differ between countries.

Students who complete training and receive their certificate but do not find a job within six months are eligible for a refund of course tuition.

All of the Coding Academy’s courses require internships. Students can benefit from the network of Epitech partner companies to find internships and job positions. These partnerships include the IONIS Group, TECH IN France, and Syntec Numérique, among others.
