I’ve since been hired at Fordham University as a UX designer. My favorite teachers knew about almost all of the issues we encountered, and gave us time to try and figure it out ourselves before revealing the solution.

The UX/UI Design Certification process did a beautiful job of introducing me to the field, giving me a working knowledge its components and getting me excited about working in it in the future. The new space is beautiful and Michelle was intelligent, passionate about the work and thoughtful in her student interactions.

I would absolutely advise taking this class if you are looking at getting into UX/UI and want a thorough understanding of its foundation and principles.

A lot of useful information that will prepare you for the next step in your career. The overall experience was enjoyable and I feel like I learned a lot of high-level material. The instructor was very helpful throughout the course.

The UX Fundamentals class was an in-depth look into the behind-the-scenes work that takes place before a site or app goes live. For people like me that thought coding knowledge was the only thing needed to break into digital, this was a revelation. User testing and flows, journey maps, ideating, wireframing and prototyping are the true heart of web design. If you want to wear many hats in the digital world (as potential employers will practically demand of you), this is the class for you.

When I entered the UX Fundamentals class, I felt that I was a complete newbie to the UX field. After I finished the class, not only was I able to finish a prototype that I really love, I'm most likely going to develop it soon.
Eva Schicker
The professor was amazing and so inviting. I felt respected and was treated like a true UX professional! The connections I made with the rest of the class really fueled my creativity, insights, and understanding of the work.

Very comprehensive class on UX theory and process. I learned many new concepts as well as a new program, Sketch.

I just completed the UX Design Bootcamp and highly recommend this course to anyone interested in learning about UX. The class gave a very comprehensive overview into the philosophy and process of UX, showed real world UX case study examples and then had us apply the UX process to our own class project. In the end I built a working prototype of an app that was based on and informed by me conducting actual user interviews, personas, journey maps, etc. etc. It was a great experience to apply the UX process to building my app all while learning a new program—Sketch. The last class everyone presented their case study and app—very inspiring to see what some of my class mates accomplished in a few weeks!

Great bootcamp, I highly recommend for the price if you are looking to learn UX for the first time and the processes involved in creating an app or website idea. You get to leave the course with your very own prototype project if you are willing to put in the time and effort.

This class gives you a ton of content to learn from, and is a great point of departure into the UX design world.

The content was presented in a clear way, and I feel that I have a better understanding of what UX design is than I did before taking this class. Joy kept the topic interesting and paced both the content and workshop parts of the class well. I appreciate that so much could be accomplished during class time (though not all, of course).
Elizabeth S.
Joy is excellent at distilling a huge subject (UX Design) into digestible bits. We will leave with a strong working familiarity of the various parts that go into UX design and I have several new tools in my design arsenal.

Knowledgeable instructors!

Noble Desktop is a great place to learn, and I recommend it to anyone who is looking to start or expand their design and coding careers! They prepare you for the job market and for you to be ahead of the curve in your career. I am actively applying to jobs and when I look for a product designer or UX/UI positions, everything I am learning in class is listed in job descriptions, so that is a huge advantage I will have once I start working. Five stars all around! :)

What makes for a good User Experience (UX)? UX design is a user-centered design approach that aims to design products and experiences which are effective, efficient, and enjoyable.
What makes for a good looking User Interface (UI) for websites, app, etc.? The combination of layout, hierarchy, spacing, typography, color, interactivity, and more are all important factors.
Design the UX and UI of digital products such as websites, apps, and more. Build prototypes and visual designs in this design app.
Testing designs (including prototypes) on users allow UX designers to uncover unforeseen issues that need to be fixed/improved, and ensure designs actually work well.
Prototypes are a functioning example of a product (website, app, etc.) that are useful for user testing, showing to clients, and more. Prototypes can be made in Figma, Sketch, InVision, etc.
In addition to 132 hours of interactive training, you will receive six 1-on-1 mentoring sessions that can be used for career and job support, including polishing your resume, preparing for interviews, and reviewing best practices for applying to jobs.
