Become a well-rounded Digital Designer: Graphic Design, Motion Graphics, and Visual (UI) Design. Conquer the essential Adobe applications (Photoshop, InDesign, Illustrator, Premiere Pro, After Effects, and Adobe XD); learn design concepts and theory; and develop several portfolio projects to showcase to employers or clients. This program includes 174 hours of hands-on training and 8 one-one-one mentoring sessions.

This class covers the fundamentals of UX and UI design with Figma, an industry-standard tool. Students will learn to create realistic prototypes of web applications that are clickable, scrollable, and optimized for different types of screens. The course additionally covers animations, different types of interactions (including hovers), and how to share or collaborate on designers with others.

Gain the vocabulary and tools to tackle diverse design challenges on the job. Kickstart your portfolio and create beautiful, responsive designs for the web. This course is offered in person and live online, in a remote classroom setting.

In this 18-hour class, participants will learn the important fundamentals of Photoshop to start using it right away. Attendees will work on a variety of projects from photo editing to creating graphics for web and print. Students will learn how to retouch photos, correct color, combine photos, use layers, start working with masks, use filters, save files properly for print, web, and more. The class includes a free retake and a step-by-step workbook.

In this 12-hour class, participants will learn how to use Sketch for UI and UX design. Students will thoroughly learn Sketch’s features (such as artboards, symbols, styles, and more) so they can design websites, apps, or digital graphics. Once the visual design is complete, attendees will learn how to convert it into a working prototype to show clients or for user testing (using both Sketch’s native prototyping features as well as InVision). Finally, participants will learn how to send designs to clients and developers using an easy to share web link generated through the Sketch Cloud. The class includes a free retake and a step-by-step workbook.

In this 6-hour class, participants will learn the important fundamentals of Sketch in order to feel comfortable using the design software right away. Students will learn Sketch’s features so they can design websites, apps, or any digital graphic. Attendees will learn about artboards, symbols, and exporting graphics to send over to developers. The class includes a free retake and a step-by-step workbook.

In this 6-hour advanced level class, students will advance their Sketch skills to the next level. Students will learn how to convert a visual design into a working prototype to show clients or for user testing (using both Sketch’s native prototyping features as well as InVision). Students will also learn how to send designs to clients and developers using an easy to share web link generated through the Sketch Cloud. Attendees will also learn advanced capabilities of symbols, how to reuse design elements with shared libraries, how to draw vectors within Sketch, and more. The class includes a free retake and a step-by-step workbook.

In this 18-hour class, participants will learn the important fundamentals of Illustrator so they can start using it right away. Attendees will create a variety of graphics such as logos, icons, patterns, and more. Students will learn how to use the Pen tool to draw custom vector graphics, convert hand-made drawings to vectors, use the Pathfinder feature to merge basic shapes into complex shapes, create patterns for fashion design, save files appropriately for web or print, and much more. The class includes a free retake and a step-by-step workbook.

In this 6-hour class, students will learn the basics of Photoshop for digitally touching up photographs. Students will discover foundational retouching and color correction techniques, learn how to make selections, and how to save files properly for web or print. The class includes a free retake and a step-by-step workbook.
