Take your Figma skills to the next level with this advanced prototyping course. Learn to use variables, modes, and conditionals to add more realistic interactivity to your prototypes.
Ready to take your Figma skills up a notch? This class is designed for those who have a solid grasp of Figma’s basics and want to elevate their prototyping skills to new heights.
In this class, you’ll learn how to use sections, variables, variable modes, and conditionals to add more advanced (and realistic) functionality to your prototypes.
You’ll also see how variables are used to create design systems, including light and dark modes! You’ll explore how to use variable collections to create primitive and semantic layers that assist in creating design systems that are easier to use and make changes to.
Students should have Figma knowledge equivalent to our Figma Bootcamp.
From our hands-on training style to world-class instructors and custom-crafted curriculum, we deliver results our alumni are proud of.
The Advanced Figma course was worth every minute. The concepts matched exactly what I was looking for in an advanced course (variables, prototyping, conditionals), but the instructor also covered important tips for creating color schemes correctly as a bonus at the end. Overall, I highly recommend this class and Noble Desktop. The setup is well done, and the content is perfect for learning the material.

Michael is a very thorough, knowledgeable, and highly skilled instructor, one of the best I've had so far.
The instructor is very clear and concise and explains concepts beyond just "doing" but the why behind things. The workbook was also very clear and well-written. I learned so much, thank you.

Use Figma’s advanced prototyping features to demonstrate how things work. Here we mock up the functionality of a shopping cart. Items can be added, removed, and totals (such as number of items in the cart and total dollar amount) are calculated.
Figma variables are an advanced feature that can aid your designs and prototypes. One use of variables is creating a design that works in both light and dark mode.
The Section feature can be used to remember where a user was. In this example, it remembers which page the user was on within the Articles or Search tabs. This often overlooked feature of Figma is easy to use and powerful!
Learn how to use variables with component variants when prototyping. In this example, we create the functionality of tabs that the user can switch between.
