Great class! I recommend it even if you work with PowerPoint. The class is filled with nuggets to improve your skill level. The content covered quite a bit and gave me the chance to learn new tips and review tips I don't use as often. Ade was thorough in his presentation and handled the hybrid (virtual/in person) format really well.

I really enjoyed the class. And liked the subject matter. I think I will be able to do the things that were explained. And I'm glad that it was recorded so I can review, and that it was explained in great detail. Everything was explained in a way that was easy to grasp.

Garfield is awesome. Makes concepts super clear and paces the class wonderfully!

I would like to recommend Garfield's class to anyone who is interested in it. I learned a lot in the class and would like to take other classes under him. He has patience and is understanding of the fact that you are learning the material. I liked how he told jokes to ease the tension in the class. And he explains the material really well in a way that gets your attention and interest to do the work in class. I enjoyed the class and the jokes he threw in while explaining the information kept me from being bored. It was a good ice breaker and made the class fun.

He gives you examples of the work and explains everything in great detail. He motivates you to want to learn the subject. I really enjoyed the class and look forward to other classes taught by him.

The content was accessible and presented in an organized way. I had great opportunities to apply the learning to real-world scenarios while in class, with the promise that it would also be applicable at our jobs. Dan was an engaging teacher. He knew the subject matter incredibly well and was able to speak to the class from experience. I was engaged the whole time, despite it being such a full day, because Dan made the content accessible and digestible. I've taken other courses (at other places) where instructors read off slides or are unable to connect to their audience. Dan did neither. He was able to discuss the info on the slides and present it naturally, conversationally even. I am absolutely looking forward to taking Part 2.

I like the times when we have to work through a challenge ourselves based on what we just learned, and then we review the answer together.

This was a great experience. The instructor is very thoughtful in his instruction and makes the information very digestible. He covers a lot of territory without making you feel like you're rushing through everything. I appreciate having access to a PC and Excel in person for the class.

My overall experience was very positive. I gained more tools in my Full Stack Web Development toolbox that track well with my overall goal and purpose. I felt the class downloads files were amazing, but the course instructor stole the show - providing great examples to follow along with.

If I could give Garfield more stars, I would. He deserves 10. He made the class genuinely fun and engaging; he was very instructive yet never dry. I have never laughed and had so much fun in a training before. Literally the BEST training instructor for something that I've been trying to learn on my own for years. I feel very confident that I learned so much specifically because Garfield was the one teaching us! My whole team even asked our supervisor if we could take additional classes with Garfield again, and it is something they are looking into now. :)

The best experience for a beginner.

The instructor makes complex topics easier to understand with good analogies.

This fundamentals class was just what I needed to brush up on my skills. It touched on a lot of tools I use every day and even a few I don't! Excel always has more to offer and being reminded of that makes working in the application that much more fun and interesting!

I found the class very informative and productive, and the instructor had a commanding knowledge of the subject matter. The class materials were second to none. Whether in soft copy, electronic, or PDF format, they allowed you to follow along with the instructor as the course was being taught.

I needed this class to give me a grounding for all of the bits and pieces about AI I was picking up, but had been unable to make sense of until this class. Social media influencers had been going on about how easy AI was and how it was going to take my job away. Learning AI concepts from LinkedIn and YouTube videos wasn't cutting it for me. I always learned better in a classroom setting, so when someone at my job told me about this class, I immediately signed up. I am glad I did. This class gave me the tools and a framework in which to understand AI from the ground up. While I certainly know I have a ways to go before I become proficient with AI, I have more confidence that I can harness its power to have it work for me and not against me. (At least, that's the hope....)

Definitely a class and instructor I would recommend for new learners and would like to see again in the more advanced classes. The materials were appropriate for the class, and I appreciated having them ahead of time to review and practice. The instructor makes a difficult topic easy to understand. He moves at a comfortable pace and takes the time to answer questions and work through any problems you may have. He adds humor and analogies that make this lighter and easier to conceptualize. He allows time for practice, making mistakes, and finding your way.

Easy to follow along and very straightforward. Garfield was engaging, funny, and a great teacher. This was one of the best courses I've taken in a long time. Thank you so much!

Great introduction to Noble Desktop, as this was the first class within my course package.

I was in the class for three days, in person, and it was great! Very in-depth and helpful. The instructor was attentive to everyone in the class and online.

The clean data with Excel is really helpful to know.

I took this course in person just for fun while visiting NY — not planning a pivot to data science, just curious — and it was exactly what you'd hope for when learning a new programming language. The instructor, Garfield, was the best: a great mixture of storytelling, leading questions about the logic behind SQL, and his own humor to keep students engaged throughout the entire bootcamp. The content was easy to follow and well organized, and even though three consecutive days of six-hour coding sessions sound like a nightmare in theory, the practical applications and Garfield's calculated and humorous approach made it a delight.

I recommended this course to my team members, and I have not completed it. This is fantastic. In my first hour of training, I had almost a full page of notes and helpful tips. It's real and practical. Very clear and well-laid-out examples. And the instructor is kind and patient. Too often, instructors don't want to take the time with someone who is having difficulties. He manages that without any effort or frustration, which is impressive. He is funny as well.

Although I'm somewhat of an advanced user, I still gained a few bits of knowledge, and it was a good refresher for me. The instructor was very personable and informative. It was a good experience, and worth my time.

I am picky (I am a college professor), and I registered for the Power BI class because I liked the way this one was taught. I found the class to be interactive and engaging. The pace was fast, but not so fast that you could not keep up. I thought the coverage was appropriate for the time allotted, and the instructor did a good job of explaining without relying on the slides. He was responsive when people had questions.
