Coming from a career built almost exclusively on Microsoft technologies, Power Query, Power Pivot, Power BI, M, and DAX—I had always heard of Tableau but never truly appreciated its capabilities until taking this course. The experience opened my eyes to a platform that complemented Power BI and, in some areas, surpasses it; in particular, Tableau's mapping and geospatial visualization capabilities are among the most impressive I've seen. This course has given me a new appreciation for Tableau and expanded my data analytics toolkit.

I would highly recommend this course for anyone that is brand spanking new to Tableau. I have never worked with Data before, and this really made creating charts a breeze.

I genuinely learned so much in this class that is immediately usable.

Art, our instructor, provided many applied examples of how to use the knowledge, and he made sure we were practicing the problem-solving skills we'd need to be able to find and use Python's built-in aids to debug code independently. He welcomed questions and providing assistance to students one-on-one, while somehow focusing on the insights from that interaction that showed key take-aways applicable to the entire class.

I think this has been the best Python course I've taken. I understand much more than I ever do in online, self-taught classes.

Very relaxed instruction style, welcomes questions, and provides helpful answers. I also like the pauses for people who are newer to coding to digest the information.

I'm really enjoying this course. I've learned a lot -- and I have experience programming and have taken other python classes before. I've truly gotten a lot of value out of it.

Even though I have very limited experience with Python, I found this bootcamp to be an excellent learning experience. The instructor was incredibly patient, supportive, and always willing to help answer questions. I highly recommend this course to anyone who wants to learn Python coding from the ground up or simply refresh and strengthen their existing skills.

The class content is great. The practical, hands-on components are really helpful in implementing the skills we learned. Overall, I think it gives great building blocks for us to understand and build off of for the future.

I had a positive experience, and I learned quite a bit. Brian is an excellent instructor. He took the time to explain things and made sure all our questions were answered. He even stayed a bit over time on the final class day to finish answering questions I had. I would certainly enroll in another AI course with this instructor.

10/10! Garfield is fantastic! He brought a group of strangers together to complete a hard task and made it fun. Even online, I felt connected to my classmates as we worked together to learn a new skill. The materials are so effective for learning that it baffles me that it took me so long to learn SGL before coming to this class. I feel like I have needed glasses my whole life and finally got them!

Garfield is an excellent instructor who makes even the more mundane aspects of Tableau enjoyable. He is full of useful information and professional anecdotes that make the content relatable.

I would 100% recommend this class! They teach you the contents of the course very thoroughly, and build up smoothly to the more complicated topics. I also enjoyed the way that whenever we learned anything new, there were matching exercises.

Garfield is fantastic! Patient, gives lots of tips and tricks, and makes the course material accessible.

Really great foundation for creating all kinds of visualizations and addressing data issues internally within Tableau (without needing to have the original data changed). The instructions for pre-course setup were easy to follow; the course was very interesting, and the instructor, Garfield, was very knowledgeable and pleasant. He made the information very easy to understand, paused regularly for questions (for which he readily provided clarification), and he made it a really great experience.

Class content reflected good fundamentals of Python as a coding language. Art was very engaging and efficient at troubleshooting Python code in real time. I learned a lot from him in this short amount of time.

I like the times when we have to work through a challenge ourselves based on what we just learned, and then we review the answer together.

Great introduction to Noble Desktop, as this was the first class within my course package.

I took this course in person just for fun while visiting NY — not planning a pivot to data science, just curious — and it was exactly what you'd hope for when learning a new programming language. The instructor, Garfield, was the best: a great mixture of storytelling, leading questions about the logic behind SQL, and his own humor to keep students engaged throughout the entire bootcamp. The content was easy to follow and well organized, and even though three consecutive days of six-hour coding sessions sound like a nightmare in theory, the practical applications and Garfield's calculated and humorous approach made it a delight.

I am picky (I am a college professor), and I registered for the Power BI class because I liked the way this one was taught. I found the class to be interactive and engaging. The pace was fast, but not so fast that you could not keep up. I thought the coverage was appropriate for the time allotted, and the instructor did a good job of explaining without relying on the slides. He was responsive when people had questions.

Very thorough, and the instructor was very passionate about the platform.

This is a very good choice if data science is your goal. I will take the SQL course next.

10/10 experience with Noble Desktop! The materials provided were excellent, and the instructor was top-notch. Garfield was an excellent instructor. He talked slowly, gave lots of analogies to help us absorb the content better, used humor, and was very patient with us all. I would absolutely take a class with him again. The class had a good pace and no pressure self-exercises. Extremely helpful to have the Zoom recordings so I can go back and watch as I practice.

Jerron is very thorough and detailed, and does a great job explaining the necessary steps to understand the class better. The class content and materials are great, useful, and informative. This was an incredible learning experience for me, and although this was my second time taking Tableau Bootcamp, I plan on taking it again. My next step is the PowerBI Certification Program, which I'm really looking forward to learning. Thank you!

Garfield has been a solid instructor for all four of the data science bootcamps I have attended. He is a master of the material and is effective at conveying concepts and theories with an appropriate amount of humor and anecdotes to keep things interesting. The pace of the bootcamp is fast but that was anticipated. We were introduced to all the major concepts of the topics, and I'm enjoying learning further outside the classroom.

I liked the fact that the class is hands-on, and the presentations cover the important concepts very well.

Nailed it. A great introduction to Tableau, given what an iceberg this software can be. The content covers the basics very well and common/expected use cases. Garfield also set us up for success by detailing precisely how we can dig deeper and further expand our knowledge with the software. I like that many datasets are included for practicing at home, as well as sharing where/how we can acquire additional datasets, Tableau templates from the community for inspiration, and so forth. Very helpful.

Kash was an excellent instructor! His teaching method is so clear, and I really liked that he gave a variety of simple metaphors. He also ensures we have enough breaks to help ease how intellectually challenging dense lessons on Python can be. Can't thank him enough for his passion for teaching!
