  • Become a Python Developer: Learn the essential skills and tools to become a Python Developer. This course teaches Python for software development with Django, Django REST, and other developer tools such as Git and SQL. After completing this certificate, you will have the skills to apply for roles such as Python Developer, Back End Developer, and Software Engineer.

  • Learn Programming Fundamentals: Start by learning the basics of Python. In the first week, you’ll learn about the lexical syntax of Python, then move to more advanced topics such as dictionaries, custom functions, and sorting algorithms. In week two, you'll learn object-oriented programming, how to work with APIs, and get an introduction to web databases using SQL. 

  • Build Your Portfolio: Develop in-demand skills with Django, a popular Python web framework used for back end web programming. You’ll learn URL dispatchers, querying models, and automating tasks with Django, as well as how to work with images and authentication and use API endpoints with Django REST. Throughout the program, you’ll work on several portfolio projects with guidance from the lead instructor. 

  • Upgrade Skills With Free Python Electives: In addition to mastering software development with Python, you'll have the opportunity to expand your expertise with two complimentary electives. Choose from courses such as Data Science Fundamentals, Python Machine Learning, Python for AI, or Data Visualization to further boost your skill set and career prospects.
