InDesign Classes Berlin

In this 6-hour class, participants will get started with the basics of InDesign for creating or editing page layouts. Students will learn how to work with type, graphics, apply color, create 2-page layouts, prepare files for printing, and export to a PDF. The class includes a free retake and a step-by-step workbook.

This course introduces students to the basic functionalities of Adobe’s InDesign layout building software. In this course, students will learn how to use InDesign to manipulate text, graphics, and color to create layouts for magazines, advertisements, or brochures.

This class teaches students with a working knowledge of Adobe InDesign how to utilize the advanced features of the program to build advertisements, brochures, and books. Lessons in this course emphasize Adobe InDesign’s color management and workflow efficacy.

This course introduces participants to the basics of Adobe InDesign. As participants familiarize themselves with the interface, they will learn typographic design, table functions, color modes, formatting paragraphs and characters, and how to import and export different files. Participants will learn how to structure pages for both print and online publishing.

In this course, experienced users of Adobe InDesign deepen their basic knowledge of the program. Participants will learn brochure and book creation, color management, and special print preparation. Additionally, they will learn to generate QR codes, create indexes and table contents, and export PDF documents for presentations.

This course allows participants of any skill level to refresh their knowledge of Adobe InDesign. As participants design a flier and the layout of a four-page folder, they reacquaint themselves with setting up formats, defining color fields, defining font and characters, placing images, and checking layouts.

In this course, users of Adobe InDesign learn XML skills to merge data in various documents. As they learn the basics of XML, they also learn different import methods, XSLT, and InDesign scripting. Participants will use XML programming to reuse data in a file for other tasks and automatically replace content within a document.

In this course, participants use Adobe InDesign to create large multi-page documents. Participants create product catalogs and follow various steps to get them ready for publication. They also work on grid design, document templates, sample page designs, formatting paragraphs and characters, and automating various processes.

This course teaches the creation of PDFs with InDesign and Acrobat. Participants will learn to prepare the documents in Microsoft Word or InDesign for accessibility and then choose the right conversion settings to turn the document into a PDF. After completing this course, participants can create documents that conform to German PDF standards.
