In this video, we'll be adding the title to the back of our postcard. So, let's begin by using the Type Tool and let's look at our PDF.
Here, we can see that in big bold letters, we have the words "Job Fair." So, let's add this to our postcard. To create this, I'll simply click on the postcard and type "Job Fair."
Next, I'll move "Fair" to the next line by clicking right before it, hitting Backspace, and then pressing Enter. And here we have "Job Fair" on separate lines. In order to now stylize this in Nevis Bold, white, I could change the color and font family, or, with the text selected, use Escape and then click on it to ensure it's selected.
I can use the Eyedropper Tool shortcut I on the keyboard and simply click the text above. This will copy the same style. Now, I just need to adjust the size of this text.
I'll hit V again, and from here, I'll drag it up until it’s a more appropriate size. Next, I want to make these words all capital letters. To do this, I'll go into the Properties panel and adjust it to all caps within the character settings.
We'll click on "More Options, " and from here, we can select "All Caps." For the next change, let's lessen the gap between the word "Job" and "Fair." To do this, we'll adjust our leading by clicking the down arrow to reduce the space between "Job" and "Fair."
We'll then drag this down so that it’s spaced roughly in the middle of our postcard, dividing our center line. Next, let’s adjust the spacing between the letter "F" and "air, " as it currently looks like it says "Job f air." So, to do this, we’ll double-click and highlight the letter "F." We’ll then adjust the tracking by clicking down and removing some of the distance between "F" and "A." I'll hit Escape on the keyboard to view the difference, and this looks good.
As a final change, I'll move it to the right slightly, and let's increase the size a little bit more by dragging on one of the corners and holding ALT and Shift as we drag, so it increases from the middle and proportionally. We’ll then leave it right there, and we've now created our title. Let’s now drag this layer from our Back Background and move it into Front Banners along with our other text and banners.
Let’s now save our work using CTRL + S on the keyboard, and in the next video, we'll be adding a box to the right with the details for the job fair. See you there!
