Hi, This is Margaret with Noble Desktop. Today We Will Be Looking at Markers in Premiere Pro. Markers Can Be Put on the Timeline, on Footage in Your Browser, or on the Timeline of the Footage.
Let's look at markers on the footage in our browser. When you're going through your footage, there may be some notes you want to take on the clip itself in the form of a marker. To create a marker, press the letter M. A drop-down menu will appear, where you can change the color of the marker if you choose to.
Today, we will be looking at comment markers and segmentation markers. A comment marker can be named, for example, "Good take, " and you can add comments such as "Use for promo." To delete the marker, press Option + M. If you have multiple markers, Command + Option + M will delete all of them. To navigate back and forth between markers, use Command + Shift + M and Shift + M.
Segmentation markers can also be used. After creating a segmentation marker and naming it such as "Use for Demo, " you must scroll over and increase the duration. This duration can be changed if necessary.
Markers can also be used on the timeline. To create a marker, press M, and then M again. Name the marker and add comments or instructions. To delete the marker, press Option + M. If you have multiple markers, Command + Option + M will delete all of them. To navigate back and forth between markers, use Command + Shift + M and Shift + M.
