In this course, we will break down the fundamental uses of Photoshop, in addition to providing strategies for adjusting, enhancing, and producing photos and marketing materials. In this video, we will discuss the practical uses of Photoshop for your professional advancement.
First, let's start by talking about what Photoshop is. Photoshop Creative Cloud, or CC, is a subscription-based application provided through Adobe Creative Cloud. In addition to Photoshop, Adobe provides numerous applications through this cloud, including common applications like Illustrator CC for graphic design, InDesign CC for print and content editing, and Lightroom CC for mass photo editing, as well as many other applications.
While there is some overlap in functions between these applications, each one truly has its own strengths and primary uses. So, what are the primary uses of Photoshop? Photoshop is an application primarily used for editing and composing photos, images, and graphics. With this application, you're able to make basic adjustments such as balancing colors, adjusting exposure levels, cropping and retouching images. You also have the ability to remove or add objects to a scene, create graphics, paint, and add various filters and effects to your image.
With Photoshop know-how and experience, there's almost nothing you won’t be able to do to create the images you're envisioning. So, welcome to the VDCI CAD Teacher Introduction to Photoshop course.
