In this video, we're going to add our last two banners to our three-banner display. We'll use the same method as before and go to File, Place Embedded, and now we're going to select our PTC banner 2 JPEG and click Place. We'll then adjust the size of it, lining up the left-hand side roughly with the length of our banner, and now we can right-click and choose Skew.
Let's zoom in, and using Skew, we can adjust each of the corners to align with our banner. We'll simply click and drag them, zoom in, and remember we're going to err on the side of fitting it. We'll want to go slightly outside of the artboard, as we'll be cropping it with our channel.
We'll scroll to the top and begin adjusting our image, and once we've finished adjusting our image, we'll hit ENTER. Now we're ready to use the channel to crop off any part of our image that goes outside the banner display. We'll right-click on the banner. With the selection tool, we can choose any of these selection options.
We'll right-click on the banner, select 'Load Selection, ' and here we're going to change the channel to 'center banner' and click OK. With this selection now on PTC banner 2 in our Layers panel, we'll go down and add a mask. As we can see, if we zoom in, we've now cropped out anything that's not part of our banner display.
Let's hit CTRL S to save our work, and now let's add our third and final banner. We'll go to File, Import, Place Embedded, and here we'll be selecting PTC banner 3 and we'll click Place. We're then going to drag it to the right, resize it to the left, and resize it roughly to the size of our left-hand side.
Sometimes it's helpful to use the arrow keys, and we're now ready to skew our image. We'll right-click, choose Skew, and we can begin working on each of these angles. Let's zoom in and scroll to the top.
We'll start with this top-left side. We'll go slightly past the border, and now scroll to the right. Adjust this as well.
We'll go to the bottom-right now and finally adjust our last corner. We'll then zoom out, hit ENTER to solidify this transformation, and with the selection tool, we'll right-click, click 'Load Selection, ' and we'll be loading the 'right banner' channel.
We'll then click OK, and we've now loaded our selection.
Next, we'll create a mask, and we now have all three of our banners within our display with masks. Nicely done! We now have all three of our banners, and the hard work has paid off with a great-looking display.
If we go into our Layers panel, we can now see the difference of what it would look like with a white background. Or, if we toggle the visibility of our white background, we can see what it would look like with a black background.
In my personal opinion, I think it looks great either way. Many times when I'm out in the field, I'll create an image like this to give a preview that's realistic for what I'm creating for a client. In this case, we're going to export this entire image with the three banners as our final project.
So, let's go up to the top and export our image. We'll go to File, Export, and we'll go to Export As. Next, we're going to export this as a JPEG image so that it's compressed and not too large of a file size.
For our scale, we're actually going to increase it from 1280 and 1024 for our width and height, and we'll double-click Scale and export it at 300 percent. This will give us the ability to have a higher resolution for our image.
We'll then go to 'Export All, ' and we're going to save this as 'Final Three Banner Display JPEG, ' and we'll click Save.
Let's now save our work using CTRL S on the keyboard.
We're going to use our three-panel display as our final project, so be sure to upload it onto the platform. I hope you've enjoyed working through this project and have learned as well as enjoyed working within Photoshop.
