Hello and welcome to VDCI CAD Teacher DEC 241 Intermediate InDesign. In this intermediate level course we're going to break down advanced uses of InDesign and review tools and techniques necessary to create bprofessional-looking layout designs and materials. Throughout lesson one we're going to be working on a postcard for our client's Domus interior design.

Here we'll add different images, we'll work with text, and go over many of the basics that we covered in the previous introductory level course. In lesson two we'll be working on a digital display and from here we're going to digitalize all of these materials and publish them online. We'll work with transitions and many other digital elements that'll be relevant for this document.

Finally in lesson three and four we're going to be working on a larger project and this will be our Parks and Dwell construction proposal. We received a request for a proposal and in response we'll need to create this document. As we can see here we'll have an entire spread of multiple pages here and we'll be designing all of them including our project team and different text boxes.

We'll create some staff pages. We'll also be implementing our philosophy and service and customer service and then we'll be working on tables here. We'll then work on precedents and add images and we'll be finishing it off with our back cover and information.

So welcome to DAC 241 Intermediate InDesign. I look forward to joining you in this journey. In the next video we're going to begin working on our first project, our postcard sample.
