We cover the tools and techniques you need to succeed.
What makes for a good looking User Interface (UI) for websites, app, etc.? The combination of layout, hierarchy, spacing, typography, color, interactivity, and more are all important factors.
Portfolio websites are how UI designers show their skills and get hired. Create a collection of UI examples (showing good visual design) to show potential clients or employers.
Design the UX and UI of digital products such as websites, apps, and more. Build prototypes and visual designs in this design app.
Layout is important for establishing how you look at a design. Sometimes called composition, it’s the design principles of hierarchy, spacing, alignment, and more which affect the appearance and usability of a design.
Typography is the art of styling text. Type design establishes hierarchy, affects legibility, branding, and includes choosing typefaces, size, line spacing, and much more.
Color theory guides how we apply color to elements in a design. Decisions such as which elements get color, what color, which combinations of colors (color harmony), and more are considered.
