SponsoredThis 2-day Project Management Bootcamp is split into two sections and covers a wide range of project management theories, concepts, and best practices. The first section of this bootcamp is the Introduction to Project Management, where students learn a range of important project management theories and methods and review the five phases (Initiation, Planning, Execution, Monitoring, and Closing). This section concludes with a capstone project where students apply their newly acquired project management knowledge. The second section of the bootcamp is Advanced Project Management, where students will take a deeper dive into the topics and concepts covered in the first section and discover more advanced managerial concepts, including task analysis, the critical path method, planning, and developing project timelines.

In this 7-hour beginner course, students will learn the fundamentals of project management. This course is broken down into the first two phases of project management: Initiation and Planning. While students learn about the Initiation phase, they will learn how to identify, select, charter, and scope a project. As students progress to the Planning phase, they will discover how to break down work and distribute tasks, define and sequence activities, create network diagrams, estimate activity resources, establish start and completion times, and much more.

While students explore these key phases, they will learn key strategies and methods for building strong project teams, estimating and managing project budgets, analyzing and controlling costs, managing limited resources, identifying risks, communicating with key stakeholders, and finalizing and closing a project.
