In this certificate program, participants will learn the skills needed to get started in the field of motion graphics and video editing. Students will learn how to work with two industry-standard apps: Adobe After Effects and Adobe Premiere Pro. Students will also be introduced to the principles of motion graphics as well as the best practices to go from concept to completion. Attendees will learn the skills needed to start a career as a motion designer or video editor and walk away with a video demo reel or portfolio to show prospective employers or clients. The program includes a free retake and several step-by-step workbooks.

Then showcase what you've learned by creating video editing and motion graphics demo reels. In this 18-hour class, participants will learn the important fundamentals of Adobe After Effects so they can start creating incredible motion graphics and visual effects right away. Attendees will learn to animate graphics, text, and photos. Students will learn to import designs (created in Photoshop and Illustrator) into After Effects, animate those designs, work with a timeline, keyframes, basic and custom easing (including the graph editor), and export the final animation as a video or animated GIF. Students will also learn to work with null objects, hold keyframes, start working with 3D objects, use video footage to create a movie title sequence, and more. The class includes a free retake and a step-by-step workbook.

In this Cinema 4D course, participants learn the basics of creating and animating objects in 3D. Topics covered include fundamental animation concepts, moving objects throughout a scene, creating realistic 3D models using lighting, and integration with After Effects. This class is great for graphic artists who wish to expand their skill set and gain an understanding of working in a 3D environment.

In this 6-hour class, participants will get started with the basics of Adobe After Effects for creating animations and motion graphics. Attendees will learn to animate graphics and text. Students will import designs (created in Photoshop and Illustrator) into After Effects, animate them, work with a timeline, keyframes, basic easing, and discover how to export the final animation as a video or animated GIF, plus much more. The class includes a free retake and a step-by-step workbook.

This 2-day, introductory After Effects course will teach students the fundamentals of designing cinematic visual effects and eye-catching motion graphics. The course covers a wide range of tools and topics, including the After Effects workflow, how to create basic animation using effects and presets, how to animate text, working with shape layers, the basics of advanced animation, how to distort objects with the puppet tool, and more. Prereq Note: Some background with Adobe products and/or video and design software is helpful.

This 6-hour, intermediate After Effects course will take students beyond the basics and teach a few of the more advanced features in order to create fantastic motion graphics and visual effects. The course covers a wide range intermediate tools and topics, including how use the Rotobrush tool, performing color corrections, using 3D features, working with the 3D camera tracker, advanced editing techniques, rendering, outputs, and more.

This is a 3-day course that gives students foundational skills in Adobe After Effects. Students will learn how to animate text and images, create motion graphics, and develop 3D content. Students will also have an opportunity to practice working with masks, adding lens flares, using puppet tools, and employing advanced editing techniques.

This 2-day, beginner-friendly Premiere Pro course will teach students the fundamentals for using Adobe’s industry-leading video editing software. The course covers a wide range of tools and topics, including how to get started with Premiere Pro, how to create a project, import and organize media, the basics of video editing, transition basics, video motion effects, audio editing and sweetening, advanced editing techniques, and more. Students will also have access to the video of the course for two weeks in order to refresh and review the material at their own time.

This 6-hour, intermediate Premiere Pro course will take students beyond the basics and teach them some advanced editing techniques as well as introducing them to the full suite of programs in Creative Cloud. The course covers a wide range intermediate tools and topics, including multi-camera editing, advanced audio mixing, exploring compositing techniques, working with advanced motion graphics, other helpful advanced effects, and more.
