In this 6-hour class, participants will get started with the basics of Adobe After Effects for creating animations and motion graphics. Attendees will learn to animate graphics and text. Students will import designs (created in Photoshop and Illustrator) into After Effects, animate them, work with a timeline, keyframes, basic easing, and discover how to export the final animation as a video or animated GIF, plus much more. The class includes a free retake and a step-by-step workbook.

In this 18-hour class, participants will take their After Effects skills to the next level. Students will integrate video footage with graphics using masks, learn green screen removal, create lower third graphics, sync animation to audio, and more. Attendees will create a simple character animation, rotoscope live-action, and use scripts to automate tasks. Students will have the opportunity to work on real-world projects to cement their understanding of the tools and key concepts covered in this course.
