This certificate program will provide you with everything you need to know to become an expert studio photographer.
Start by creating professional photo shoots including setting up optimal lighting and camera equipment. In the first course of this program, you'll get hands-on practice taking astonishing photos using your camera's manual mode while controlling the shutter speed, aperture, and ISO to snap the perfect shot.
Learn how to use Photoshop to correct color, adjust contrast, retouch, and remove unwanted elements from your photos, and use Lightroom to manage your photos, as well as prepare photos for printing, slideshows, webpages, and social media.
Upon completion of this course, you’ll receive an official certificate testifying to your mastery of the curriculum. We’ll send you a link where you can download your certificate, share it online with your friends, post it to your professional network on LinkedIn, and view all your earned certificates. If you attend the course in-person, we will have a computer already set up for you with all of the required software for no additional cost.

Master the art of studio photography in this hands-on, immersive course! You'll learn how to optimize your camera settings, maximize the impact of studio lighting to create stunning portraits for a variety of scenarios and contexts, and take your images to the next level with professional retouching techniques. Take the first steps toward becoming a professional photographer by learning about workflows and industry-standard practices.
Get a solid understanding of Photoshop so you can retouch and color correct photos, combine images, and create graphics. In this class, you’ll start with the basics and then move on to more intermediate features. Learn about color/contrast, photo retouching, layers, masks, paths, filters, type, and saving files for web/video/print.
This intro course will start from the beginning with importing photos from your camera into Lightroom’s catalog. Then you’ll see how to edit and organize all those pictures. Optimize and develop photos for printing, create slideshows, create webpages and printed books to share your work, and publish your pictures on social media sites. Last but not least, you’ll learn how to keep your photo library safe by implementing backup strategies.
