In this video, we will learn to use the keyboard shortcuts Q and W in Premiere Pro. This technique will greatly improve your editing efficiency.

Hello, this is Margaret with Noble Desktop. Today, we will be learning the keystrokes Q and W in Premiere Pro, which are phenomenally useful. 

The letter Q cuts from the beginning of the clip to the playhead, and the letter W cuts from the playhead to the end of the clip. Let's watch it in action. 

I want to cut from the beginning of the clip to the playhead, so I will press Q. Then, if I want to cut from the playhead to the end of the clip, I will press W.
