Printing Layouts & Exporting Text

Discover how to print layouts and export text from InCopy, including details on selecting printing views and exporting text as a rich text file.

Printing Layouts & Exporting Text

Printing from InCopy

  1. Go to File > Print.

  2. Choose the desired printer from the Printer menu at the top.

  3. From the View menu, you can choose to print:
    • A Layout view which looks just like the InDesign/InCopy layout.
    • Or a Galley & Story view which is just the text.

Exporting Text as a Rich Text File

  1. Go to File > Export.

  2. At the bottom of the window, set the Format to Rich Text Format.

  3. Click Save.
