This last project is a residential kitchen remodel, so let's look at the plan. We have the breakfast area. You can see that there's a new counter that's going between breakfast and dining, the kitchen production area itself, the transitional butler space, and then out to the back door.
As before, we have the call-outs for the elevations. You can see that elevation 1, looking to the left, and 2, looking up, are on this page. Elevation 2, looking right, and Elevation 1, looking down, are on page 2. This is on page 2. This is on this page.
Again, the dimensions are in millimeters. You can see they have a nice sink. They're showing the uppers right here in a dashed line type.
They're showing the units below. They're also showing the wood floor pattern. They're calling out all of the specific materials.
Again, SS1, SS1, Hanstone for the elevations. Here's the counter. Here's the kitchen.
Again, you're seeing the shelving that's in there, adjustable. This is how many shelves you need to have made. They have the sections for the different cabinets.
They're showing they have a puck light. Again, they've really done an excellent job detailing everything in the butler pantry area. So you can tell that these are panelized door systems, similar to a Craftsman-style look, where these would be the recessed panels, how many shelves are behind, and elevations at the refrigerator and the range.
This would be very similar to what you would see in a typical residential interior elevation drawing. The scale of this drawing is half-inch equals a foot, which is very typical for interior elevations, very, very typical. They're calling out the make of the refrigerator because they've custom-sized the cabinets for the refrigerator, the range, and the microwave convection fan.
This is telling what to get. These are the actual parts that are going to be made, more elevations. And then these are the door elevations.
Again, the door elevations are at an inch equals a foot. So you're going to find that these doors over here will be referenced over there. The lighting plan for the kitchen, they're calling out where electrical outlets are going to go.
Again, this can really help the contractor know what's going on. And what you'll notice too is that they've literally taken the other CAD file, turned many of the layers off, remapped them in this image to be on the, we'll just call it the pattern layer, so that they're going to be plotting in a gray scale. And then all the information for the electrical outlets just shows itself much more clearly.
Here are the section drawings of the cabinets, including the handle, how it's attached, the components that are on the side of the shelf. Again, very nicely thought out. Look above the refrigerator.
They have two shelves. Again, more cabinetry section drawings. This is showing full scale, full scale, the actual conditions with the door mechanism, where they have angled cabinets in the butler's pantry area.
They're simply showing here, this is where the hood vent for the range is popping up. Again, attention to detail. They're showing for the panelized doors that it's 89 millimeters and then 201 for the actual opening.
Again, attention to detail. And more butler pantry information. Again, attention to detail.
