In this 18-hour class, participants will learn the important fundamentals of InDesign to start using it right away. Attendees will work on a variety of projects: 1 and 2-page advertisements, a double-sided brochure, a magazine layout, and even an entire book! Students will learn how to work with type, graphics, manage large files using paragraph and character styles. Students will also master pages, learn how to prepare files for printing, and how to export to a PDF. The class includes a free retake and a step-by-step workbook.

In this 2-day course, students will get a comprehensive introduction to Adobe InDesign CC. Beginning with the user interface and navigation controls, students will then learn how to design their first document. Students will also practice adding text and graphics, formatting characters, paragraphs, and colors, and work with page elements such as layers and objects. The final lesson involves the export of InDesign files for delivery.

This 2-day course expands on the foundations of Adobe InDesign, teaching students more advanced skills. Students will learn how to prepare documents for different layout versions, manage libraries, anchor objects, and create dynamic documents. They will be able to manage long documents such as books, including building a table of contents, an index and system of footnotes.

In this 6-hour class, participants will get started with the basics of InDesign for creating or editing page layouts. Students will learn how to work with type, graphics, apply color, create 2-page layouts, prepare files for printing, and export to a PDF. The class includes a free retake and a step-by-step workbook.

This 3-day course teaches the fundamentals of Adobe InDesign. Students will learn how to work with colors, objects, styles, and typography to develop designs for publishing. Completing 15 projects in this course will allow students to practice creating rich layouts and interactive .pdf forms. While intended for beginners, advanced users are also encouraged to take the course to expand their skills.

Specific topics include advanced transparency techniques, blending modes, page layout, shape conversion, stylesheet techniques, tables, and text flow, linked file management, Creative Cloud utilization, long document management, PDF accessibility, and HTML/CSS exports.

Further develop your Adobe InDesign Tablet and Mobile publishing skills in this one-day intermediate course. Participants who have successfully completed an InDesign Essentials class learn how to create new documents, or modify existing ones, to formats like EPUB, Kindle/AZW, MOBI, PDF and HTML for Kindle, iPad, and other such users. Added interactive elements, like video and music, enhance your creations. Specific topics include creating e-books, hyperlinks, and EPUB documents, converting graphics, redefining reading orders, adding metadata, exporting HTML code, creating and exporting documents, and learning best practices for Section 508 compliance.
