What Classes Are Available?

BoiseCodeWorks provides two in-depth, immersive bootcamps offered full-time. Take a look at both courses to see what works for you.

BoiseCodeWorks’ Immersive Full Stack program teaches everything needed to dive into a full stack career as a software developer. The course offers a learning environment that mirrors the industry and covers front end development fundamentals like HTML5 & CSS3, languages like JavaScript and React JS. It also dives deep into other important frameworks for front end web applications, and crucial skills for back end development like SQL MongoDb, and Agile / Scrum. Students will receive front end and back end coding instruction from highly-skilled software developers. Throughout this comprehensive program, students will collaborate with peers to create projects, including constructing real-world applications from scratch, and by the program’s end, have created a professional portfolio. Other bonuses of the Immersive Full Stack course include mentorship from expert instructors, professional networking opportunities, and even a paid apprenticeship program

The Cybersecurity program at BoiseCodeWorks is specially designed to teach the strategic, analytical, and technical skills necessary to propel students into the ever-expanding and critical cybersecurity industry. Students will gain an introduction to Python coding language, learn about Security Information and Event Management (SIEM), conduct malware analysis and apply risk management (RMF) techniques, and develop a security project from conception to technical implementation. Individuals enrolled in this program will also discover how to use cryptographic principles to protect data and learn about threat analysis and threat modeling. The bootcamp also boasts career placement services.

Class Formats

BoiseCodeWorks believes that face-to-face, personalized instruction is the most effective way to quickly learn essential coding skills. Both BoiseCodeWorks’ Immersive Full Stack and Cybersecurity courses are full-time, in-person programs held at BoiseCodeWorks’ campus in Boise, Idaho. Classes run Monday through Friday, 9:00 am to 5:00 pm. The school keeps both immersive programs small, with 15 to 25 students each.

Those enrolled in the 13-week, Immersive Full Stack program can expect over 500 hours of instruction. In addition to course instruction, students will have daily lectures, an optional daily fireside chat, seven to 15 hours of weekly homework, and two 15-hour hackathon events.

The Cybersecurity program is a five-module course that boasts more than 650 hours of instruction, as well as pre-class lessons, daily lectures, homework and an optional daily fireside chat.

Admissions Process

Admissions to BoiseCodeWorks are on a first-come, first-serve basis. A deposit is required to reserve your space in a class, which is capped at 25 students. If no spaces remain for a particular semester, applicants may need to wait for the next cohort.

Pricing & Payment Options

BoiseCodeWorks has a few different payment options. The 13-week Immersive Full Stack program costs $8,900. The Cybersecurity program costs $12,774 for all modules in the 22-week program.
