In this beginner AutoCAD class, participants will learn basic drawing and modifying techniques for drafting and technical drawing. Basic methods of printing and plotting layouts and sheets, working between model space and paper space, and how to scale drawings through viewports will all be covered. Students will master techniques for inserting blocks, making text, dimensioning drawings, and working with layers and templates. In this 2-day Intermediate AutoCad course, students with basic CAD knowledge will learn how to design and draw more rapidly and more efficiently with CAD. This course covers a range of intermediate topics, including working effectively with AutoCAD, accurate positioning, parametric drawing, working with blocks, creating templates, advanced layouts, external references, and more. Students will be able to reinforce what they learn with numerous projects interspersed throughout the course. This course also offers a free retake to allow students to revisit any concepts needing to be refreshed and walk away with a much stronger grasp of the material.

This introductory course teaches the basics of AutoCAD, including how to customize your interface, configuring your file before you draw, and your drawing tools. You’ll also learn how to use annotation tools and layers.

This intermediate AutoCAD course teaches students how to edit their dimensions, move objects, and create blocks.

This advanced AutoCAD class teaches students how to set up their design center tabs, tool palettes, and system variables. Intermediate-level experience in AutoCAD is necessary to sign up for this class.

This AutoCAD course shows students how to work with layer states, manage your prints, and purge unneeded objects. You’ll need to take the “AutoCad Advanced” course or have equivalent experience to sign up for this class.

This introductory class in AutoCAD 3D teaches you how to draw on an XY plane, 3D modeling, and how to manipulate objects in 3D mode.
