In this 18-hour class, participants will learn the important fundamentals of InDesign to start using it right away. This 8-hour Fast Track InDesign course will help students get up and running quickly with Adobe InDesign. This course covers a range of beginner InDesign tools and topics, including character formatting, working with blocks of text, creating and working with simple graphics, and importing text and graphics from external applications.

This 2-day program on Adobe InDesign teaches the essentials of this publishing layout software. Students in this class will learn how to design and publish many types of content, such as marketing materials, newspapers, magazines, catalogs, and more. With no need for previous experience, students will leave this program ready to create high-quality layout designs.

Participants who have successfully completed an InDesign Essentials class learn how to create new documents, or modify existing ones, to formats like EPUB, Kindle/AZW, MOBI, PDF and HTML for Kindle, iPad, and other such users. Added interactive elements, like video and music, enhance your creations. Specific topics include creating e-books, hyperlinks, and EPUB documents, converting graphics, redefining reading orders, adding metadata, exporting HTML code, creating and exporting documents, and learning best practices for Section 508 compliance.
