Now that we have our lines aligned, we actually can actually do it pretty easily if we go into our 3D view. So what I'm going to end up doing is I'm going to go to my 3D view here.

So I'm going to click on my default 3D view, or if you already have it open, you can tap back. And effectively, all I need to do is I just need to find a view where I can kind of see what I want to deal with. And what I can do is I can go trim, TR, pick there, pick there.

And there we are, pick there, pick there. Now remember, you want to click on the portions that you want to keep. You may notice that I actually have a little bit of an issue here.

That's fine. Let's see. I'm going to see if I can align that.

I'll have to do that in plan. But then we can go ahead, go trim here and here, here and here. And you can just work your way down.

And you might just need to orient your view. But because we did the alignment, now we only did it for the first floor. So you're only going to be able to do the first floor ones.

Now I want to just do just the hot and cold waters right now. Only do the hot and cold waters. We don't want to do anything else.

We'll have to repeat these steps on the second floor. But you might be able to find some interesting views to do it. And I think I might have done that one backwards on accident.

So you want to make sure. Yep. See, I did that one backwards.

So I'm going to undo a couple of times. Let's see here. That one's connected.

I'm getting a little lost. That's okay. I'm going to go trim here, here, here, here.

It may be best to just stay in one orientation to go down and get them all done. And then come back at a different orientation. So I'm going to stick to this orientation here.

Find one that you like that works for you. You could even do the opposite side. Again, the first floor.

There, there. Let's see. Again, it's going to take a little bit of finagling, but sometimes I find working in 3D is actually very, very nice.

Kind of gives you that instant gratification of what you're trying to do. There and there, there and there. Okay.

I'm going to change my orientation so I can see these other ones on the first floor. See this other side. There we go.

There we go. We're just tying in the hot and cold water lines right now. Boom, boom, boom, boom.

Because we're just using that trim command. I didn't click on a portion I wanted to keep long enough. Sometimes you may have to change things up a little bit.

There we go. And then let's do the other side. That's the second floor.

So I already got that one, got that one. Keep working our way down. There we go.

Trimming all those and we're connecting our hot and cold water lines in there. Now I'm going to go to my second floor plumbing plan and do the same align that we did on the previous. So I'm going to go to level two plumbing.

I'm going to come into here. I can go ahead and some of it should be pretty close. I think I'm seeing through all the way to the first floor, which is kind of, it doesn't really help me out too much here.

So let's take a look at our view range here. And we want to go ahead. We're on four.

I want to go to zero, change my view depth to zero, not go four feet below. There we go. So previously my view depth is going four feet below level two.

So I was seeing the connections to the other sinks and everything. I don't want to see that. So here I'm ready to go ahead and start doing my line.

Now your waistlines should already be aligned. If these are perfectly stacked, all your waistlines should already be aligned. So you shouldn't have to align those.

You can always double check it there and there, but it seems like they're all looking pretty good. Let's get my hot water and you'll notice my fittings moving down here. If I undo this, I'm going to go ahead and save real quickly.

But when I undo this, notice that when I pick here and here, and then here and here, it's moving these fittings down here because it's adjusting those lines. There we go. Let's go ahead here and here, here and here.

I'm just going to work my way, just like what we did on the first floor to go ahead and do that. Oops. Make sure you get the right references.

I think I got a wrong reference there. There we go. And if you need to control Z to undo, don't be afraid to do that.

It's okay. Go ahead and do it and get it through. If you accidentally click on the wrong references or something along those lines, it does happen.

Now, see, in this instance, I actually want to do the cold water first because it's going to be really hard to pick that cold water. So I'm actually going to undo, pick the cold water first, move that over, and then move that over. There we go.

Let's go ahead, come over here. I might need a tab select through a few of these. It's just kind of the nature of the beast.

Sometimes I need a tab. So there we go. There we go.

And then let's go the cold water. Hot. Let's go the hot first, just because of how it's oriented.

And see, the piping and pumping and everything in Revit isn't super like crazy advanced. It just takes time. That's the number one thing.

Nope. Didn't get this guy. There we go.

And just double check them. Make sure you got them all. Kind of going around.

I'm seeing a couple that I might've missed just because I kind of jumped into the middle there. And that's kind of one of the things too, is that you may want to start from one end and work your way down so that you're always staying consistent. It looks like I jumped kind of in the middle here and I didn't really finish them all out, but it looks like I got them.

Now I can also do the trim from here. If I go TR for trim here and here, here and here, I can do it from the plan view. Now that I've aligned them, I think it's kind of good to see in the 3D just so you guys can see what's actually happening here and here, here and here.

I just keep going around. This is actually probably a little bit easier now that you kind of know what's happening and the fittings and everything that it's putting in. There we go.

And here and here, here and here. And I think we got them all. Let's just double check.

Let's go over to our other side here. And it looks like we just need to trim these guys up. Keep working around.

We're almost there. Just going to trim these final ones together. The last one.
