Well, InDesign is an application that is primarily used for page layout and design.
With this application, you're able to design materials such as newsletters, brochures, business cards, and so much more. Now let's begin by going into our C drive within our File Explorer, and from here, we're going to be selecting the file that we downloaded as a zip file. This will contain all of the materials we'll need throughout this course. So let's right-click it, and first, we're going to Extract All from our zip folder, and we'll extract straight to the C drive.
Once the process is complete, we'll see that we have all of these materials right within our C drive within our folder. In addition to having them here, let's also right-click and we're going to Pin this to our Quick Access. By doing so, we'll see that it's now within our Quick Access, and we can easily get to it.
In addition, I'll drag it to the top until I see the black line, and we'll have it right at the top of our Quick Access. Next, I want to bring our attention to one file within this folder, and this is our project samples PDF file. If we double-click this, we'll see that we have a PDF of many of the materials that we'll be creating throughout this course.
This PDF is here for you to be able to reference throughout many of the different videos and be able to see the finished product. If you'd like, you can print this out and set it beside your computer as a reference, or go into the folder and reference it throughout the course. We'll close out this PDF right now; however, feel free to print it or utilize it throughout the course.
