Let's continue on with our keynoting. We're now at keynote 16, which is full brick veneer. So I'm going to go on and copy this line from the end of here, ortho on, to the mid of here.

Again, apostrophe OS for OSNAP. I will turn on midpoint. And I will copy it to the end of here.

Keynote 15, which is going to be my building wrap vapor barrier. So I will move the arrowhead and the leader line. Ortho is off.

Go to my vapor barrier, which is back here. Copy this line from the end of here to the mid of there. Control S to save.

Keynote 14 is my brick tie. I'm going to copy this line from here to there. Because I'm going to be putting my brick ties over in that area.

Move window. I pressed F3 to turn my running OSNAP off. Now, I need to go on and put some geometry in to make sure that I'm pointing to the proper thing.

So I'm going to go to my section file. And when I'm in my section file, one thing I'm noticing is that I'm pointing to previous information. Because when we were doing the section before, we were not reflecting our window.

So I'm going to make a couple of changes. I'm going to move my brick veneer down to here. I'm going to move my insulation callout, which is number five, down to here.

I'm going to copy the leader from there over to there. I'm going to rotate crossing from the end of here, F3 end of there. I want to rotate it up so that it's 60 degrees.

So I'm going to positive rotation is counterclockwise. So I will rotate this up a minus 60 degrees. Move crossing arbitrary point from there over to here.

And again, I'm pointing to my wall insulation. So I will point to that line right there. I'm going to explode this line.

And you can see I have my polyline separated now from my arrow. Erase window. I'm going to fillet these two.

Now again, this part has not been exploded. I explode this. And I now fillet these two.

And everything is fine there. Control S to save. I'm now pointing to my gyp board.

I'm just going to move these symbols up slightly. Again, put ortho on. Control S to save.

So I've gotten this information done. Again, what we're working on, though, are the brick row locks, zoom dynamic. I will go over to the appropriate area.

Control S to save. This is image two. This is image three.

If I go back to my 303 file, I can see that what I'm pointing to is the image two. So I will go back to my section file. And I'm going to draw a polyline nearest to this line.

I'm going to go forward, ortho on, a distance of two, enter, enter. I'm going to give it a thickness, poly edit this guy, give it a width of 0.5. Control S to save. Now I need to see where am I actually pointing this information to.

I go back to my 303 file. I see the window. I see that what we're talking about is keynote number 14, which is going to be in the lower half of the window.

I go back to the section file, lower half of the window. I'm going to move this up to there. And then I'm going to copy my last item, arbitrary base point.

I'm going to skip every fourth row, so 1,2, 3,4, 1,2, 3,4, 1,2, 3,4. Running OSnap is on. Turn that off. Control S to save.

Go back to 303. Reload my XRef. Right button, reload XRef.

Control S to save. And I see that, again, keynote 14 is not pointing to the proper entity right now. So I'm going to make a couple of changes.

I'm going to do a move window, move window, and point to my actual brick tie. I'm going to fill it, the lines, fill it here, and fill it here. Control S to save.

Double confirm. Make sure I'm pointing to the right things. Make sure that 16 is pointing to the brick veneer.

That is correct. Keynote 15, going to the building wrap, which is right along there. Now, what you can see, though, is that I'm not really showing my building wrap.

So what I'm going to do is go back to my section file. And I'm going to offset by a quarter of an inch this line. Go to the right.

I'm going to take this line, MA for match properties. Here's source. Here's destination.

I'm going to go PE for polyedit. Choose this line. Convert it to a polyline, yes.

Give it a width of an eighth of an inch. So I have a little bit of thickness going on here. I'm going to take break this line.

The first point goes from here to here. Erase the upper segment. Control S to save.

Go back to my 303. Reload the XREF. See what I can see.

Again, it is keynote 15 that's the building wrap. I'm going to move window and get the leader and point to the building wrap itself. Fill it.

This entity right here. Control S to save. Back off a bit.

So you can see my building wrap is going from here. I have my tie-in right here. I'm going to go on and break the line right down to there.

Go back to my section file. Back off a little bit. Break this line.

First point there to there. Erase this line. Control S to save.

Go back to 303. Reload the XREF. Control S to save.

So I'm now pointing to the appropriate things. I'm not overly happy with my brick tie pointing. So I'm going to zoom in.

Move window. Pick this guy. Move it up a little bit.

Fill it. Control S to save. Back off a bit.

We now have Keynote 13, which is going to be our two-by blocking. Again, this entity. I'm going to copy a horizontal leader line from the end to the mid.

I'm going to move the window around the leader. Point a little bit more clearly. Fill it.

These entities here. Control S to save. Keynote 12 is the roof sheathing.

Keynote 9 are the shingles. So what I'm going to do is I'm going to go back to my section file. Pan down a little bit.

Offset by three-quarters of an inch. Pick this guy. Go up.

I'm going to match properties. Here's my source. Here's my destination.

I'm just going to go on and draw a line from here to here. They're the proper layer. Offset by, again, half an inch.

Go up to represent the shingles. Polyedit, PE. This guy.

Give it a width of half an inch. So that's going to represent my shingles. Now I have enough information that when I save the file, go back into my 303 file, reload the XREF.

I can more accurately point to things. So again, I have Keynote number 12, which is pointing to the roof sheathing. Move window.

Move window. And the line. I'm going to go on and pull it down a little bit more so I can point to things.

I'm going to move window. My line. So I can now point to the shingles.

I'm going to copy the horizontal line from the end of here to the end of here to the end of here. Fill it. These entities.

Fill it. These entities. Control S to save.

Keynote 10 is the wood truss, which is going to be happening right over here. So I'm going to move the keynote up. Again, put ortho on.

Move it up. Take off my running OSNAP. I'm going to mirror crossing the angled leader.

Delete the original. Move crossing. From here, running OSNAP is on.

Take ortho off. Point to the truss. Move this line from the end of here.

Running OSNAP on to the mid of here. Fill it. This and this.

Control S to save. Pan back. See how things look.

Control S to save. Everything is now properly aligned. I do need to solve whatever is happening up here.

I see that that is keynote 11, which is my insulation for the ceiling. So I'm going to go move window. And I'm going to go on and choose my leader line.

Pull it down to there. I'm going to copy the horizontal line from the end to the mid. Fill it.

This and this. Now, once again, in this elevation, I'm also showing my sheathing and my shingles. So I'm going to copy window, arbitrary base point, down and down.

I'm going to copy window, the leader head and the leader line. I'm going to go on, take ortho off. Again, running OSNAP is on.

Turn that off. I'm going to point to the shingles. I'm going to point to the framing, the actual sheathing.

Move crossing. Move these guys up. Put ortho on.

Fill it here. Copy this horizontal line from the end. OSNAP is on.

And end. Fill it. And fill it.

Control S to save. I need to change the values that are in here. Again, zooming in.

The shingles are nine. Double click here. Give it a value of nine.

The actual sheathing is item number 12. Double click here. Give it a value of 12.

  1. Control S to save. And now we have all of our appropriate leaders and keynotes pointing to the proper thing.

I'm going to erase out this red line, which is my guideline. Control S to save. Zoom extents.

And now we have all of the information properly keynoted within our wall sections.
