The Miles Stroth Workshop

This introductory course gives you an overview of improvisation techniques and principles. Designed to help unleash your creativity, build confidence, and enhance communication skills, you will learn the basics such as "yes anding," agreement, listening, character, environment work, and group mind throughout interactive group activities. With no requirement of background or experience, anyone with a desire to improve their ability to think on their feet can participate.

This online course focuses on the fundamental skills needed for comedy sketch writing. Participants will explore various comedy theories and comic character development as part of the curriculum. By the end of the course, students will have written sketches using the tools and techniques taught in the class.
