This hands-on course helps participants develop their basic jewelry-making skills while focusing on die-forming and beadwork techniques. Through demonstrations and practice time, students will explore a variety of tools and methods to create and shape jewelry with metals. Participants will also learn tips for soldering, polishing, and securing the elements of the pieces they create.

In this Gold Week course, participants will gain a complete understanding of the basics of jewelry-making including goldsmithing techniques. They will learn about sizing and shaping, soldering, stone-setting, and polishing, as well as basic design principles. Participants will take away their own pieces of handmade gold jewelry.

This jewelry-making course provides students with the tools to create and design jewelry pieces. Participants will develop skills in soldering, sawing, filing, and finishing techniques. They will also learn to use a range of tools and materials to create stunning jewelry pieces of their own imagination.

This course provides an in-depth study of ancient gold and related techniques. Students will learn skills such as hammering, granulating, and etching as well as a variety of related materials, tools, and techniques including soldering, texturing, stone setting, and finishing. An emphasis is placed on understanding the history of the techniques and materials used in ancient gold working.

This course provides a comprehensive overview of jewelry design for individuals interested in the art. Participants will immerse themselves in the study of techniques, including soldering, stone setting, and wax carving. By the end of the semester, students will have gained a well-rounded education in creating unique jewelry pieces.

This course provides a comprehensive introduction to the art of enameling, covering a variety of techniques such as stenciling, sgraffito, and cloisonné. Based in NYC, the class meets once a week, with classes focusing on both theoretical education and hands-on practice. Participants will work on individual projects to apply what they've learned and create unique enamel jewelry pieces.

In a well-equipped studio, this course allows participants to learn about various jewelry-making techniques, including soldering, sawing, forming, and casting. Guided by experienced instructors, participants are expected to gain functional skills in transforming precious and semi-precious materials into distinctive jewelry pieces. The class takes place in NYC and runs throughout the late fall semester.
