## Overview

In this course, you’ll build on the foundation from Project Management Level 1 and complete your understanding of the five stages of project management by focusing on the Execution, Monitoring, and Closing phases. You’ll learn how to keep a project running smoothly once it’s underway, ensuring tasks stay on schedule, budgets remain on track, and lessons learned are documented to support future efforts. The class also covers practical techniques for managing budgets, allocating limited resources, and estimating or tracking costs throughout the project lifecycle.

You’ll then receive an introduction to Agile Project Management and learn how it differs from the traditional Waterfall approach. Through an overview of Scrum, Kanban, and Extreme Programming (XP), you’ll see how various Agile frameworks support different types of projects and goals. By comparing these methodologies, you’ll gain the insight needed to choose the best management style for a range of project environments.
