## Overview

Our five-course series equips you with advanced techniques and prepares you for success in either the Autodesk Certified User or Autodesk Certified Professional Exam in AutoCAD. You can choose which certification exam to take upon completing all courses in the series.

- **Master AutoCAD Basics and Core Tools** : Begin by learning essential tools and techniques such as drafting symbols, floor plans, and plotting. Gain hands-on experience with AutoCAD’s user interface to build a strong foundation for more advanced skills.
- **Create Professional Construction Documents** : Learn to create professional construction documents, including floor plans and building elevations. This course emphasizes the development of multi-scale plans, title blocks, and notes for polished presentation and accurate project delivery.
- **Work with Advanced File Management Techniques** : Gain experience managing layers, handling external references, and organizing files efficiently. These skills are essential for working on complex projects with clarity and precision.
- **Develop Detailed Drawings for Construction** : Create detailed CAD drawings and integrate them into full construction document sets. Learn to apply CAD standards and organize your work for professional presentation and review.

## What you'll learn

- Create a floor plan, enlarged plan, roof plan, and building elevation for a moderately complex residential project
- Integrate referenced files to create construction documents, demonstrating effective layer and file management, model/layout environment use, and multi-scale drawing presentation
- Apply intermediate to advanced skills to create sheet layout environments and prepare files for plotting
- Create title blocks and title block/drawing label components for a professional office to support the development of deliverable sheet files
- Create building elevations, building sections, and wall sections; modify detail drawings; draft a metes and bounds (civil) drawing; and generate relevant deliverable sheet files for a moderately complex residential project
- This includes developing a title sheet and incorporating appropriate general and keynote legends
- Organize the deliverable sheet set to align with National CAD Standards
