## Overview

In the AutoCAD Construction Documents I course, students create a complete set of construction documents for a one-story residential project. Starting from scratch, you will develop a title block and components such as labels, then draft the floor plan, roof plan, and building elevations. You will also focus on integrating referenced files, managing layers, and using multi-scale drawing presentations to create construction documents.

- **Create Title Blocks & Drawing Label Components** : Learn to create title blocks and title block/drawing label components for construction documents. These elements are essential for organizing and presenting professional deliverable sheet files.
- **Draft Floor Plan, Enlarged Plans, Roof Plan, & Elevations** : Develop a floor plan, roof plan, and building elevations for a moderately complex residential project. This includes the creation of detailed notes and scaled layouts for each of these components.
- **Integrate Referenced Files & Manage Layers** : Gain hands-on experience in successfully integrating referenced files into your AutoCAD drawings. You will also learn to manage layers and use model/layout environments for effective coordination of all project components.
- **Organize Sheet Set to National CAD Standards** : Learn how to organize and structure your deliverable sheet set to meet the National CAD Standards. This ensures that your construction documents are properly formatted and ready for professional presentation and submission.
