## Overview

AutoCAD is a powerful tool that allows users to create detailed 3D models of objects or designs. With AutoCAD, you can create complex 3D shapes and add intricate details to models using various tools and features. You can also use AutoCAD to manipulate 3D models by rotating, scaling, or moving individual parts, as well as adding colors, textures, and lighting effects.

In this course, you will learn best practices in 3D modeling and build upon your knowledge of the AutoCAD interface to complete advanced 3D models. The course is designed for students who are proficient with the commands for 2D drawings in the AutoCAD software.

## What you'll learn

- Creating simple solids and surfaces from 2D objects
- Modifying and editing in 3D space
- Visualization, point clouds, and refining the view
