# Illustrator for Fashion Design Bootcamp

## Overview

In this course, you’ll create vector-based fashion graphics and learn the fundamentals of working with vectors. You’ll use these fundamental techniques to create tech packs (short for technical packet, otherwise known as specification sheets), concept art, and more.

With hands-on guidance, you’ll learn how to successfully create artwork using complex vector tools, including the Pen Tool, Shape Builder Tool, Paint Tool, patterns, and more. Learn how to create complex fashion graphics using croquis (sketches), simple shapes, and effective design strategies.

## Prerequisites

Basic working knowledge of Adobe Illustrator is recommended. If you have never used Illustrator, consider taking our [Illustrator Bootcamp](/classes/illustrator) class.
