Class Formats

SMU Bootcamps will be held live online through virtual classrooms until further notice. These are far from lectures, but interactive virtual courses led by expert instructors. With less time spent in class than the full-time programs, the part-time courses also provide engaging lessons to work through on your schedule.

Admissions Process

To apply for admission to any of the SMU Bootcamps, begin by filling out the contact form.

You must complete and submit this form, also selecting the program that you’re interested in, so that the school can get back to you.

After the school has received your contact form, a member of SMU Bootcamps’ admissions team will get in touch with you to talk about program details and answer questions that you might have.

You will then be asked to fill out a short application and complete a multiple-choice and critical thinking assessment to demonstrate your skills with logic and problem-solving. It should be noted that no prior industry knowledge or experience is required.

After you have been accepted, SMU Bootcamps will discuss financial options that fit your circumstances. Once your payment has been approved, you must pay a deposit and sign an enrollment agreement to secure your space in the class.

Pricing & Payment Options

The cost of the part-time coding program is $12,495, and the cost of the full-time program is $13,495. The data science and FinTech programs are $12,495, and the cybersecurity clocks in at $13,495. Currently, SMU alumni are eligible for a $500 scholarship toward tuition. SMU also offers early registration pricing, payment plans, scholarships, and loans for those who qualify. Career Support Services

SMU Bootcamps have a career services team focused on helping students use their skills to find a job that’s a great fit. The Career Director helps students through office hours that start shortly after the beginning of the program followed by one-on-one meetings with them to discuss their goals as graduation approaches. Throughout the program, in addition to classroom instruction, students will also have access to a tutor network for free tutoring on request, as well as a peer network with whom to drill down on difficult concepts as well as brainstorm and collaborate on projects.
