Full stack students at MindHub can choose between the Java and the MERN stack course options. Students can choose to fund their education with a deferred payment plan once they are employed in the industry.

MindHub is committed to promoting gender equity in the field of technology. The women-owned school was founded in Buenos Aires in 2017 by Alejandra Ripa, Vanessa Taiah, and Patricia Martucci, three entrepreneurs who left their management jobs at Accenture to develop the school. On their journey to founding MindHub, the women also established a professional networking organization called Women in STEM Entrepreneurship as part of their commitment to matching talented women with tech jobs. MindHub won the 2019 Resilient Buenos Aires Challenge, sponsored by the Rockefeller and Citi Foundations, in the Gender Equity category. They were also awarded the 2021 Small and Medium Business Award, hosted by HSBC and La Nación, in the Diversity category. Since 2020, MindHub has rapidly expanded, delivering more instruction in more countries to get more women into tech professions.

School Locations

MindHub’s main campus is located in the waterfront Puerto Madero neighborhood of the Buenos Aires business district in Argentina. The school also has offices in Las Condes, Chile, just outside Santiago, and MindHub’s leadership team aims to open a new learning center in Mexico in 2022. Since 2020, the school has offered fully online instruction as well.

Subjects Taught at Mindhub

MindHub students can learn web development, including mobile application development, through the school’s bootcamp instruction. With Noble Desktop’s Classes Near Me tool, future students can locate additional coding education opportunities. The tool allows students to search for and compare web development bootcamps as well as classes.

What Classes Are Available?

MindHub students can choose between two full bootcamps: Full Stack Java or Full Stack MERN with Mobile Apps. Both courses start with the school’s short course called My First Website, covering the basics of HTML, CS5, JavaScript, and JQuery, before launching into the main web development curriculum. Students in the Java course then move into in-depth instruction in Java, including Spring Boot and SQL. Meanwhile, students in the MERN class learn Mongo, Express, Node, and React.js, as well as Selenium and React Native.

Class Formats

MindHub bootcamps run on a full-time schedule. Students in the MERN bootcamp receive 600 hours of instruction, while students in the Java bootcamp receive 740 hours of instruction. Students spend their mornings learning new concepts, working on assignments, meeting 1-on-1 with their mentors, and checking in with their instructors on their progress. In the afternoon, students participate in paired programming and sometimes play coding games with their classmates to help master new concepts. The MindHub curriculum uses only practical assessments, no quizzes or exams, with multiple applied learning activities scheduled into the course. Students in both bootcamps end the course with a capstone project involving the development of an Ecommerce application, and they have opportunities to work on real professional projects from the school’s clients. MindHub bootcamps are available live online for global access to the school’s curriculum; courses are taught in Spanish.

Admissions Process

Registering for a MindHub course begins by filling out an admissions form detailing basic information about the student’s education and professional background and interests. Upon receipt of the prospective student’s form, the MindHub admissions team reaches out to the student to discuss their learning and career goals and support them through the enrollment process.

Pricing & Payment Options

Tuition for the MERN bootcamp costs $4,000, while tuition for the slightly longer Java bootcamp costs $4,400. Students have options for covering the cost of their course tuition. Discounts are available for up-front tuition payment, and the school also offers a short installment plan for students who want to pay off their tuition throughout the bootcamp. Students can also fund their tuition through an Income Share Agreement (known as a “Future Income Agreement” at MindHub), which allows students to defer payment until they have secured employment as a junior web developer. MindHub also offers students the option to customize their payment plan, which allows them to blend both partial up-front payment with an Income Share Agreement for the outstanding tuition.

Career Support Services

In addition to providing practical assessments through which students develop their professional coding skills, both MindHub bootcamps conclude with 40 hours of dedicated, intensive career development for all students. The school’s career coaches lead students in developing their professional profiles and job application materials, help students with their interviewing skills, and connect students with industry professionals.

MindHub advertises that 87% of graduates from their bootcamp programs find jobs. The school has trained over 1,500 students, both men and women, through their bootcamp programs. Graduates of MindHub now work at such major global organizations as Accenture, Deloitte, EY, IBM, and Jedify.
