The Adobe Bridge is included with “any” CS3 (Creative Suite 3) program, Photoshop, InDesign or Illustrator. People often miss this new application or don’t know the full extent of what it can do! The Bridge lets you browse images as thumbnails, manage a collection of digital photos, drag and drop them into page layouts, develop camera raw files, view slide shows and more.

In this lecture-style, 2-hour class you will learn just how much the Adobe Bridge can do. Here are some of the important topics you will learn about:

• Manage Images & Files:
  - Viewing thumbnails and enlargements
  - Rename, delete and move files
  - Rotate images
  - Rank and Sort Images
• Camera Raw
  - View Camera Raw images as thumbnails, enlargements or slide shows
  - Edit white balance and exposure settings
  - Work with multiple raw files at once
  - Copy Camera Raw settings and apply to other photos
• Creative Suite Integration
  - Drag and drop images into InDesign/Illustrator
  - View fonts and colors used in InDesign files without even opening them up
  - Browse multi-page PDF documents
• Metadata
  - What is metadata? (Essentially it’s extra descriptive information.)
  - View metadata and and apply keywords
  - Search for images that contain keywords and other metadata
• Keystrokes
