Adobe Photoshop CS3
An introductory through intermediate level Adobe Photoshop class, with an emphasis on understanding the elements of an image,
from pixels to halftone dots. You will work on dozens of images! Projects include everything from simple color correction to complex
photo retouching, providing an overview from scanned image to printed piece. The course covers retouching, layers, masks, paths, channels,

- Manipulation of dozens of images: Color correction, retouching, contrast adjustment

The 3-week training workshops meet twice a week for three weeks while the 3-day class consists of three seven-hour sessions with
a one-hour lunch break. Each student gets their own computer with a 19" monitor.

An advanced level course, with an emphasis on retouching, complex selections, color correction, and color accuracy for output. With
a fashion shot we’ll focus on retouching skin and reshaping facial features. With a product shot we’ll focus on selections
and dynamic color. With a lifestyle shot we’ll focus on masking and creating pleasing flesh tones. Check

Photoshop Color Management Seminar In this lecture-style, 2-hour class you will learn how the complex world of color management works. We'll show you how to put in
place a color managed workflow and take control of your images. Here are some of the important topics you will learn about:
- color profiles (which ones to use for print and web)
- the difference between assigning and converting profiles
- converting from RGB to CMYK
- calibrating your monitor
- soft-proofing color (previews the final output on the monitor)
- options to set when printing to desktop printers (such as inkjets)
