We spend hundreds of hours creating each class we teach.
The exercises we give to students are all custom made, designed
by us to teach the student in a professional and organized
manner. Even after we create the class, we solicit evaluations
and then continue to improve the class on a regular basis.
When new software updates become available, we immediately
incorporate them into our training materials. This compares
to most accredited schools, which ask each instructor to
develop their own curriculumsomething impossible to
do well by only one busy professional.
We have a limited offering of classes because we demand
the highest quality from every class we teach. If you see
another training facility that teaches every software program
in existence, you have to question the quality of their
offerings.
The projects you work on in class are cool, professional,
and good-looking. In our QuarkXPress class, for example,
we dont have you create some shabby newsletter. We
have you create nice ads for magazines, the New York Times
Crossword Puzzle, an entire 112-page bookthe list
goes on. We believe that you should learn AND create portfolio-quality
material at the same time.
One of the most important comments we regularly receive
about our classes is that they are fun, interesting, and
most important, not boring. There is nothing
worse than a boring instructor or a boring lesson. In our
class evaluations, one of the comments students can check
off is that the teacher Droned on and on, I could
barely stay awake. Well, suffice it to say, if we
ever get a comment like that, the teacher wont be
teaching long at Noble!
One of the biggest complaints about computer software instructors
is that they are too technical. They know how to use the
program, but not how to explain it. At Noble, we make sure
all of our instructors know how to teach as well. Heres
how we evaluate them: If after an interview we still like
them, they sit in on a class, to see how we do it. Then
they teach a class for the the first time. We sit in on
the class to make sure they are doing it right. And finally,
we then ask the students for their opinions. If the teacher
does not get excellent ratings all around, they no longer
teach here. Simple as that.
The problem with training facilities these days is that
they all say the same thing. We have great instructors,
we have big monitors, you work on great projects, yada yada
yada. Well, if they have great instructors, who are
they and where do they work and what is their experience?
You can find out the bios of all our instructors just by
clicking! And big monitors?
Youd be surprised by how many people think 15"
is big. ALL of our computers have 20" monitors! And
what about those great projects? If the projects are so
great, why don't they give you examples of them on their
web sites?
At this web site you'll find everything you possibly need
to know about our organization. But if you still have any
doubts about the quality of our training, then take solace
in our official, unconditional, money-back guarantee. If
after the first day of class you dont absolutely LOVE
it, well give you your money back. Simple as that.
Chances are that you will not only love it, you will continue
to send friends and associates to Noble for the finest computer
graphics training in New York.
Noble Desktop started out as one freelance graphic artist
with a Macintosh SE (with a 9" monitor!). It has grown
into a 50-computer, 3-classroom facility with a rock-solid
reputation. Word of mouth is how we get most of our business,
and we hope that, no matter how you heard about us, you
give us a shot. We think youll be glad you did!
