About
1991-Present Owner/operator of Mac-based computer graphics business. Continuous freelance and independent project production, on and offsite with expertise in Quark, Indesign, Photoshop, and Illustrator. Services include digital mechanicals, layout, type, design and illustration. Projects offsite start-to-finish involve direct communication with clients, printers and vendors, in all phases of layout, typesetting and preparation for print. Recent in-house positions • Dowden Health Media, Montvale, NJ (6/2007-10/2008) Graphic Artist. In-house layout of journals, magazines and other materials for the medical publishing industry, working closely with art directors and editors for timely production of monthly publications and various promotion pieces. Most work is in Indesign and Photoshop. • RLA Creative, Cresskill, NJ (10/2003-6/2007) Graphic Artist. In-house Mac production work for advertisers of fine jewelry and other products. Includes typesetting, silhouetting and layout using Quark, Photoshop, Indesign, Powerpoint.
