InDesign Intensive
Designed for those who are Mac or Windows literate, but have
never worked
in another desktop publishing application such as QuarkXPress. InDesign is covered comprehensively,
including basic layout, text and graphics manipulation,
drawing tools (bezier curves), color creation and application,
style sheets, master pages, multiple pages, baseline grid,
hyphenation, libraries, indexing, book
creation,
and much more. Essential typography
rules are
also covered.
For those of you switching from
QuarkXPress to InDesign, we suggest the 2-day Quark to InDesign class below. However, even if you have Quark experience, you may still want to take this class, which is a little slower-paced and a little more comprehensive. We suggest people who are very quick at QuarkXPress to take the 2-day class, and those who are still getting to know Quark to maybe take it a little slower with the 3-day class. Check
our complete syllabus with examples of the class projects.
