Dreamweaver Advanced

This course will take you to the next level of webpage design with CSS, Div tags, Server-Side Includes
and more.
We’ll take CSS (Cascading Style Sheets) way beyond text styling and see what they can really do. You’ll learn how to lay
out webpages using <div> tags. You’ll center align div tags
and create 2 and 3 column layouts using relative positioning. You’ll learn how to float elements into position, how “inline” versus “block” elements
work, how to create better rollovers with CSS instead of JavaScript, and much more. CSS page layout gives you the ultimate power
to change a website's entire design by changing a few styles.
Throughout the projects you’ll learn how to deal with problems
in Internet Explorer to get your pages to display the same across browsers. Check our complete

Dreamweaver Interactive
Add animation & excitement with JavaScript & JQuery
Kick your sites up a notch by adding animation and interactivity to create an amazing user experience. Words just don’t do
this class justice, so be sure to check out the examples to truly see how cool this class
is.
In this course you’ll start by learning the fundamentals of JavaScript code. Knowing even the basics will empower you to write
your own scripts as well as use freely available JavaScript frameworks (code written for you) such as the industry
standard jQuery. Learn how to create animated
slideshows with transitions like fades or slides. Create animated image enlargers, show/hide additional content, build nice looking
menus and more. You’ll
even learn how to use cookies to remember a visitor’s custom settings
the next time they visit your site.
This advanced level course is meant for people that have experience building webpages,
but want to make them less static, more exciting, more user friendly and cooler! Knowledge equivalent to our Dreamweaver Advanced

HTML5 and CSS3
ADVANCED TECHNIQUES, NATIVE AUDIO/VIDEO, ANIMATION
HTML5 is the latest HTML web standard, offering flexibility, ease-of-coding, and powerful new features. Similarly, CSS3 offers us more sophisticated properties and elegant solutions for styling and even animating elements.
Although the specifications for these languages have not yet been finalized, many modern browsers already support a large set of the proposed HTML5 elements and CSS3 modules. This class will show you a sampling of new techniques that you can use today in most major browsers.
Learn how to better structure your page content with new semantic elements and experience the magic of native audio and video support. Create drop shadows, text shadow, rounded corners, elements with semi-transparency, and gradient backgrounds purely with CSS. Practice using the exciting new CSS Transform and CSS Transition modules to produce simple animated effects without the use of JavaScript or Flash.
This advanced level course is ideal for people who have experience coding webpages but want to stay ahead of the curve. Knowledge equivalent to our Dreamweaver Advanced class is highly recommended, as is some experience with hand coding. This class will use Dreamweaver, but will be almost 100% hand coding.

HTML email has become a staple of communication. Everyone can benefit from sending HTML email, from large corporations to small businesses and freelancers. Give your emails some personality and life! This class will cover building a simple one-time email, and a weekly newsletter format.
